Open the official WAEC portal

In your mobile browser (Chrome, Safari, Samsung Internet, etc.), go to https://ghana.waecdirect.org. This is the only official WAEC results portal for Ghana.

Enter your exam details

Type your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number, then choose the correct Examination Year and Examination Type (WASSCE or BECE).

Enter your PIN and Serial Number

Copy the Serial Number and PIN from the receipt we sent you and paste them into the matching fields on waecdirect.org.

Submit and view your result

Tap Submit. Your result slip loads in the browser. Take a screenshot or use your browser's Save/Print option to keep a copy.

Tips for a smooth check on your phone

  • Use a stable Wi-Fi or 4G/5G connection to avoid timeouts.
  • Type your Serial Number and PIN carefully — they are case-sensitive and each PIN can only be used a limited number of times.
  • Make sure you are on https://ghana.waecdirect.org — beware of look-alike sites.
  • Once your result loads, screenshot it or save the page as a PDF for your records.
